I remember the days when me and my girlfriends were planning a night out and we gathered hours before going out trying to decide what to wear and how to do the right combinations. I also remember how desperate I was two hours later, when they have tried the 3/4 of their clothes (the rest 1/4 were unwashed) and still haven't decide what to put on.
The problem most of the time was: "I don't feel comfortable with this".
We women, but also some men, tend to feel uncomfortable sometimes with our bodies and we don't like anything on us, because we think it makes us look fat or short, or too old. However, that's a perception we have to handle, daring to wear the clothes we want, without thinking that we might won’t look good.
The perfect style doesn't come from the clothes, but how well we manage to support that clothes on us and be confident in our own skin. Finding pieces that will embrace our confidence is the most difficult part, because we have to approve the person who we are first. However, once we balance that, we will dare to wear whatever we like to.
Being comfortable in our clothes means we are comfortable with ourselves and we love the person we see in the mirror no matter what is she/he wearing because whatever it is she/he will manage to look fantastic.
Accept the amazing person you are, and dare to wear what you love, leaving people inspired by your looks and how well you look in your red jumpsuit, or in your stylish new top who no-one has dare to wear yet.
Let yourself free and feel good about it.
Ah! And If you do this, you will have also managed to survive from your angry friends who are waiting you for two hours to get ready...(haha)
